Santa visited our Christmas party on the last day before the holidays!

Silly Mrs Moynihan hadn't bought enough chocolates for our calendar.... 

I forgot to buy more at the weekend, so I promised I would bring some in on Tuesday... But the kind hearted, chocolate-loving P1s were worried I'd forget. Logan saved his own chocolate from his calendar and brought it in and Jack brought in some chocolates for us all to share! However, I did remember the chocolates today, so our countdown to Christmas is back to normal! Thank you boys, for being so thoughtful!

Number Stories

We are learning our number stories to 5 this week! Help us practise at home too!

All aboard the Skoobmobile!

We visited the Skoobmobile today and were given a special gift from the Scottish Booktrust! We are looking forward to reading our new books!

The idea is that everyone has a bucket and when you do something nice or someone does something  nice for you, your bucket fills up. However, your bucket can spill if things don't go your way.... We are trying to be good friends and bucket fillers!

Welcome to Primary One!

The children have all settled in well and are having fun being part of Mossvale Primary School!

We have been very busy learning the letter sounds, practising our numbers to 10 and learning lots about the Sun, Moon and Stars!  We have also been trying to be good friends to each other by becoming a 'bucket filler' - I will put up some photos to explain a bit more!
